The Warrior Recon Plate Carrier Base, or RPC, is a lightweight, low-profile, and modular plate carrier vest from Warrior Assault Systems. It is designed for users who require high mobility, adaptable configuration, and a reliable equipment platform without sacrificing essential functionality.

The RPC is designed for medium and large SAPI and ESAPI stand-alone ballistic plates, as well as the most common 10” x 12” I.C.W. plates. The inside of the plate pockets is lined with a 3D mesh material that improves comfort, helps dissipate body heat, and ensures better ventilation during prolonged use.

The Recon Plate Carrier comes with ladder-style cummerbund side panels, which attach to the front with two removable ITW SR clips. This system allows for quick donning and doffing of the vest while maintaining a secure fit. The total tensile strength of the ITW SR clips is up to 600 lbs on each side.

The shoulder area can be configured in three different ways: as a slick, low-profile system, with Velcro-padded shoulder covers, or with a wrap-around sleeve for routing hydration tubes and communication cables. This allows the vest to be adapted to a specific mission, equipment, and user comfort needs.

The RPC set includes a removable MOLLE front panel secured with two vertical SQM clips and a strong Velcro attachment. The panel can be quickly removed and replaced with various pre-configured magazine panels, weapon-specific pouch panels, or the Warrior Pathfinder Chest Rig system. The vest is also compatible with Warrior Assaulters Back Panel modules.

Important: The RPC plate carrier vest itself does not provide ballistic protection. Ballistic plates and soft armor are sold separately.
