Helikon-Tex Levanter Jacket
Helikon-Tex Levanter Jacket is an ultra-lightweight rain and wind jacket designed for changing weather conditions and dynamic use. It provides reliable protection against light rain and wind while maintaining high mobility and compactness. Ideal as a “just-in-case” outer layer for hiking, everyday wear, patrolling, or operational situations.
Weather protection and materials
The jacket is made of 100% nylon fabric with an approximate density of 105 g/m². Nylon provides good resistance to tearing and abrasion, dries quickly, and maintains functionality in changing conditions.
The outer surface is coated with a DWR C0 (PFAS-free) water-repellent treatment, which causes water to bead up and roll off, reducing moisture absorption into the fabric.
A PU (polyurethane) membrane is integrated inside with a water resistance of up to 10,000 mm, providing protection in light to moderate rain. At the same time, the material maintains breathability of approximately 10,000 g/m²/24h, making the jacket suitable for active movement without excessive moisture buildup.
Lightweight and compact
Weighing approximately 268 g, the Levanter Jacket is significantly lighter than classic hardshell jackets. It is easily foldable and does not take up much space in your gear or backpack, making it a practical backup layer for unexpected weather changes.
Functional design
-
3/4 zipper (half-zip) for quick donning and additional ventilation
-
Large kangaroo-style pocket with dual access
-
Adjustable hood for protection against wind and rain
-
Compact construction for easy transport
The kangaroo pocket is suitable for storing maps, gloves, EDC gear, or other small items.
