The BYTE headlamp, smaller and lighter than similar headlamps produced by the American company Princeton Tec, but just as functional. The BYTE is equipped with an efficient Maxbright LED diode that emits a concentrated white light beam with a power of 100 lumens up to 48 meters away. In addition, it is also equipped with a red Ultrabright LED that emits diffused red light with a range of up to 3 meters - particularly useful when working in the dark, as the soft red light does not cause the human eye's photoreceptors to "switch back" to dark mode. A large, rubberized button on the top allows for easy switching on, off, and changing of the lighting mode from the four built-in options: high and low, both white and red. It is also equipped with a battery lock, which is activated by holding down the button, preventing accidental switching on of the light. The headlamp is powered by two AAA batteries (included), and it meets IPX4 water resistance standards.
